The competition brought 16 of the country’s top PUBG MOBILE teams to Mwai Kibaki Hall for two days of high-level mobile gaming on August 21 and 22.
When the final results were announced, RESCUE Esports stood at the top of the national standings.
RUSH Esports finished second, while No Pressure secured third place.
The result earned RESCUE Esports the title of PMNC Kenya 2026 champion and placed the team among the leading PUBG MOBILE competitors in the country.
From national champions to African contenders
The competition does not end with the national championship.
Kenya’s top three teams — RESCUE Esports, RUSH Esports and No Pressure — will now advance to the PMGO Africa Regional Final.
They will face some of the best PUBG MOBILE teams from across Africa, with a US$14,000 prize pool at stake.
The opportunity gives the players a chance to turn their competitive gaming experience into exposure at a continental level.
For many young gamers, esports is increasingly becoming more than entertainment, with competitive tournaments creating pathways into professional gaming, content creation and other areas of the digital economy.

The event brought together gamers, professional teams, fans and young talent, creating a platform for participants to compete and connect.
