Two people of Kenyan Origin have been arrested and arraigned in court for alledgly defrauding a health insurance firm billions contrary to the law. The two Peter David Leparakwo and Fredrick Kimemia Kimani alongside their company Cirtext Kenya Ltd were charged before Milimani Magidtrates where they denied the charges.

The said Sh 1.5 billion Land located in Karen, the Suburbs of Karen was defrauded and left dry. The court papers show that Peter David Leparakwo and Cirtext Kenya Ltd. Fredrick Kimemia Kimani were charged in court in 2023 and denied the charges.

In the first count, corrupt Leparakwo accused that on 29th October 2013 at Nairobi County, jointly with others not before the court, with intent to defraud NHIF, he allegedly forged a title deed for the said land measuring 9.5 acres contrary to the law. He denies the wrongdoing despite the massive evidence alluded to by the prosecution.

The court heard that he forged a title of land certificate purporting it to be a genuine and valid certificate prepared and issued by the chief land registrar at the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning at the Nairobi land registry; the objective of all this was to defraud the said NHIF land.

They were also charged faced several counts related to forgery of title deeds and uttering false documents contrary to the penal code.
