Fake , corrupt Kenyan Auctineer Keneth Korir charged with Sh1.6M Fraud, fails to effect a court order

An alleged fake Auctioneer Keneth Korir was today arraigned in Court facing charges of fraudulently obtaining money and pretending he would effect an eviction order.

Keneth Korir was charged before Milimani Law Courts with obtaining Ksh 1.6 million pretending he would effect an eviction order issued by Mavoko Law Courts.

According to the charge sheet, Korir on diverse dates between April 5, and April 13, 2023, in Nairobi County, with the intent to defraud James Njukia trading as Manyota Investment obtained Ksh 1,600,000 from the said James by falsely pretending he would effect an eviction order issued by Mavoko Law Courts.

Appearing before Magistrate Gilbert Shikwe, the accused person denied the charges and was released on Ksh 300,000 cash bail
