Serious land fraud allegations against Nation Media journalist John Mugo Njeru.

According to some disturbing details in our possessions.

The ex-journalist has been entangled in various cases involving the forging of a title deed for prime property in Mombasa, which was previously owned by Hezron Ndanyi Lidede before he came in.

According to a whistleblower, Mr. Njeru, together with Peter Masha Kalama, allegedly forged documents to produce an irregular title for a piece of land owned by the late Hezron Ndanyi Lidede.

Having worked as a journalist, he is said to have engaged rogue land officials who helped him forge some sensitive land records which led to the formation of new title deeds.

Things went to the south after the government through the National Land Commission (NLC) conducted hearings that led to the revoking of some fraudulent acquired titles including the ones that were issued to Njeru, upholding the rightful ownership of the Ndanyi family.

Njeru proceeded and tried to rectify the titles but all was in vain.

He was later arrested and charged with forgery and fraud, with warrants of arrest issued against him.

Furthermore, the court heard that he was linked to another Sh700M land fraud.
